I think the thing with Rehearsing My Choir is also that it is both a record that works better after repeated listenings AND is not a record that you might want to hear all the time, so it requires a bit of patience some people might not have. I can understand that.

i never could stand the furnaces, until I heard this song. thought it was kind of weird and poppy, sort of dug it. then i realized that marc jacobs chick was singing "hey it's ice cream, no not coke" and went back to hating them again.

I think the thing with fiery furnaces is also that they're a band that works better after repeated listenings AND is not a band that you might want to hear about all the time, over and over again, from perpetua, so it requires a bit of patience some people might not have. I can understand that.
