Anyway.. yeah he got his Ph.D. in Near East Languages / studies / Jewish mysticism ... etc etc .. he is a great friend of mine but I still not sure if I knew *exactly* what little box you'd put his studies into ... like some mix of philology and religious study. I think. Anyway, he is teaching at Cornell and is a massive doom rock fan ... Corrupted is basically his favorite group in the world .. actually I think Drew knows him. haha .. UNABRIDGED .. shit man, the thing he published was like a billion pages long as it was! Nedelkoff is a funny guy. I actually spoke with him on the phone a few times when he would call for my roommate who did Teh Baffler. Man, that guy can talk and talk and talk... it's totally great though. The first time I'd ever even heard of Scott Walker was that review of Climate Of Hunter which ran in an early issue of the Baffler..
