how do i ate lunch in the office?

go in kitchen ---> everyone looks at food and goes "oooh what ARE you eating?", etc.

eat at desk ----> everyone can smell my lunch and I feel bad about it

Most days I eat a non-fragrant lunch but sometimes I just have to resort to the old Trader Joe's microwave option.

Maybe I'll get my own office soon.

we have a gigantic cafeteria called Eat At URLs. it's like the food court at the mall, except everything tastes exactly the same and i want to barf daily. free sodas and coffee.

Everyone's lunch smells good at my office, no one complains about smells! I mean, it's not like anyone's spooning up the durian or anything, but normal foods are cool here.

I skip dinner and replace it with tea/juice + cigarettes, but lunch is my hearty meal.

I am in dilemma at work. I want to eat my lunch at my desk so I can play on the internet and get all my daily news reading done.

But when I do that I ALWAYS get some dude coming up to me "I NEED YOU TO DO THIS ASAP......... oh i mean as soon as you are done eating." and it is in my nature to do it ASAP. so I always end up taking 10 minute lunches. I need to start wearing a helmet while eating.

I work with architects. they are super high strung, multi-tasking motherfuckers. it is actually part of my tasks to be on ebay, craigslist, gawker and curbed all day, but they also overestimate my skills, so they will have me designing their kitchen and installing cabinets, while also making spreadsheets. They will be like "oh, you need to go ASAP to XXX place and receive a piece of millwork. it is only one piece, just take it into the store." and then I will get there, wait around for 4 hours and when the truck driver gets there, the stupid thing weighs 500 pounds and is 11 feet long, and the truck driver feels so bad for me he takes an hour to help me get it to its place. WTF.
