Why does only the first picture look real? The others look weirdly colorized, or else totally Photoshopped. But the text seems to bear out the photo evidence so I dunno why they'd need to alter them!

Laurel (Laurel), Friday, 14 April 2006 20:32 (twenty years ago)

those are mad fake

vahid (vahid), Friday, 14 April 2006 20:33 (twenty years ago)

the 2nd shot looks like an architectural rendering done in 3d studio or something to show what the renovation will look like when complete.

vahid (vahid), Friday, 14 April 2006 20:34 (twenty years ago)

But there are lots of other pictures on the offical castle website that look normal and undoctored and show the same view/room -- why alter just those two pics??

Laurel (Laurel), Friday, 14 April 2006 20:36 (twenty years ago)

i don't think they've finished the damn thing!!

the 3rd is maybe a concept photo they got from the interior designer (if they even have one!) from another site that they photoshopped themselves into. i'm not expert but why the hell does the guy on the left have shadows on the right side of his neck if most of the light into the room is reflected off the floor from the right? why does the lady in front have shadows under her neck? it looks like they're bounce-lit from above but nothing else in the photo jibes with that and besides three groups (two in front, two in back, rest of furniture and room on right) are in different planes of reality/perspective from each other anyway.

PROOF

they photoshopped themselves OUT of the basement and INTO a different photo which is meant to represent the uncompleted upstairs but is from a different castle!!

EGYPTIAN GENIE (blastocyst), Friday, 14 April 2006 20:48 (twenty years ago)

"In Aspen, Colo., actress and former Playmate Barbi Benton and her husband George Gradow have put their futuristic house known as the Copper Palace on the market for $25 million. Comprising five copper pods connected by stairways, the 25,000-square-foot building is cantilevered in sections to provide views from all areas of the house. Each pod has its own function: The living and entertaining pod, for example, has both a disco and a ballroom. Other features include a gym, a theater and two heated lap pools. The house, which is set on 40 acres in Aspen's tony neighborhood of Starwood, was designed by architect Bart Prince."

Ivana Trump was very rude to me, fwiw. And the kitchen totally screwed the pooch and didn't give us any food. fuckers.
