sorta no. There were more things recorded, but not released. Von Lmo doesn't consider Rudolph Grey an essential aspect of Red Transistor, so according to Von, there's lots more. According to Von, anything he does is Red Transistor. I could never get a straight answer about the existance of more tapes with Grey. But that 7" of old material came out in the 90s, just to clear up confusion some may have.

thurston reissued the original in 1990 on ecstatic peace. the recording was made in 1977 (didn't we already talk about this on ILM i think).

Von Lmo: Born on the planet Strazar and raised in the "black light dimension," Von Lmo (whose last name rhymes with "well Moe") teleported to Earth in the late-'70s to play industrial noise in a handful of New York No Wave bands. The best known of these is Red Transistor, which recorded a single with the somewhat unlikely title of "We're Not Crazy" for Red Star Records. It didn't actually see the light of day until Sonic Youth guitarist Thurston Moore released it on his Ecstatic Peace label. After a 10-year stint in "suspended animation," Lmo is once again releasing albums of blistering noise.

the Ecstatic Peace singles were going for lots of money until Byron found a box of them a few years ago. I've never heard any mention of a test pressing. There's a pretty recent CD comp that Marty Thau put out with some (presumably) old stuff under the name Red Transistor.

Hi all you RED TRANSISTOR FANS out there! The single never came out originally. I have a live tape of Red Transistor! (It's not very good quality, though.) The "Red Transistor" tracks on that Red Star, Songs of the Naked City compilation are actually an early version of the VON LMO BAND.
