rapidshare still the best for finding old dvrs & blurays &c, tho they are quite assiduous with getting rid of new rlses

filesonic/fileserve are the standards for mp3 but they seeem to get rid of stuff quickly too

I usually just use google blog search or filestube to search for stuff, and then try and download from the best host I can find (+ most legitimate-seeming website and file name).

the most reliable ones for me (best->worst) are...

• mediafire = super fast; no wait time; can download multiple files at a time
• megaupload = super fast; 45-second wait time; can only download one file at a time
• zshare = ~1 minute wait time; allows parallel downloads; a little slower than mediafire
• rapidshare = moderately fast; crazy wait times lately (it used to be about a minute before your first download and like 15 minutes between downloads; not sure how it is now); can only download one file at a time; has a cartoon bouncer and cartoon dudes checking their watches
• depositfiles = as slow as rapidshare w/ about the same wait time as megaupload; no parallel downloads; longer wait times between downloads

badongo can eat a dick. I dion't really know what "duckload" is, but it can eat a dick also. I don't really do this stuff much any more, so maybe some of my info is outdated.
