see, i actually envisioned harry hopes as having a bit more class than harry hope's. total sidebar but...i once saw some dude open the door on a couple skrewing in the bathroom somehow sparking them to stop with the hanky panky and move into screaming match..the dude then stormed out..stepped to bar, then slowly turned and collapsed into the boxes of empty bud bottles while vomiting...dude had a full night. full. night.

vasmay vs. mars - it's bigger and smells slightly less of vomit and there doesn't seem to be much in the way of hard drugs and there are more random not-from-the-neighborhood drinkers and they don't get beat up and the jukebox is better. but it's still pretty pungeant and there are crusty old dudes and people falling asleep and the drinks are cheap and all liquor/no mixer and the bartenders are sassy girls.
