^pic gives me the creeps

Pashmina (Pashmina), Thursday, 4 January 2007 11:24 (eighteen years ago)

I was watching a docu about the Luftwaffe the other day. There was a bloke who used to be a test pilot, and he was saying that most of the planes never got past the prototype stage - they showed them to Goering at air shows when they were half-finished.

why does that pic give pash teh creeps?

For some reason, pictures of large sunken vessels seen under/through the water does my fucking head in. I've no idea why, it just always has.

^ the stuff of nightmares, ugh.

Pashmina (Pashmina), Thursday, 4 January 2007 16:56 (eighteen years ago)

Yeah, it's like a ghost and an open grave all at once.

Boom Dershowitz (noodle vague), Thursday, 4 January 2007 16:58 (eighteen years ago)

ah i thought it was some weird greeky thing or something. don't ever go to honolulu, dude!

hstencil (hstencil), Thursday, 4 January 2007 16:58 (eighteen years ago)

Pash, did you play the section of GTA where you drive over a sunken ship/sub thing?

kingfish prætor (kingfish 2.0), Thursday, 4 January 2007 16:59 (eighteen years ago)

It is creepy because it's hard to tell if it's ghostship or underwater monster.

stoked for the madness (nickalicious), Thursday, 4 January 2007 17:02 (eighteen years ago)

Any Britishes ever been to Scapa Flow? I really want to go!! Apparently all the sunken ships there are mined for steel since it was forged before the atomic tests and won't have atmospheric isotopes in it.

Pash, what's that picture?

roc u like a § (ex machina), Thursday, 4 January 2007 17:04 (eighteen years ago)

yeah that second underwater ghost ship picture is creepazoid

giboyojimbo (skowly), Thursday, 4 January 2007 17:09 (eighteen years ago)

esp because its by those nice houses

roc u like a § (ex machina), Thursday, 4 January 2007 17:10 (eighteen years ago)

There's a sunken barge near my folks place that was full of concrete and hit a reef. No REALLY good low wrecks

roc u like a § (ex machina), Thursday, 4 January 2007 17:10 (eighteen years ago)

Which picture, jon? I just googled "sunken Ship" and picked the worst example for the second one.

My mother's side of the family were all seafaring/navy ppl, one of the great grandparents actually saw the German fleet scuttling at Scapa Flow. by his account is was some super headfuck shit to witness (not his actual words, I suspect)

I don't think you can actually see anything through the water there, it's pretty deep.

When I got into far enough into GTA:VC that you could access the boats, started exploring and found the big sunken cargo ship, it made me feel a bit ill. Worse still, when you do the ganja package pickup mission when you buy the boatyard, you have to drive the speedboat over it!

Pashmina (Pashmina), Thursday, 4 January 2007 17:14 (eighteen years ago)

Yr quirks are the kind of stuff that makes me believe in past lives.

roc u like a § (ex machina), Thursday, 4 January 2007 17:33 (eighteen years ago)

nazi bikini (harbl), Thursday, 4 January 2007 17:40 (eighteen years ago)
