I haven't even listened to Hypermagic Mtn. I saw them with Theresa in summer 05 and it was the best I had ever seen them. They were using tons of shimmery digital delay..... some of new stuff is good i guess!

yeah, the taqueria finally got shuttered so the three fingered owner decided to shutter the whole place. i'm sure a place that big (when you consider the taco shop & bar) on that stretch of milwaukee in wicker park is worth more than the entire suburban block where i grew up.

There's a benefit gig at Magnetic Fields on Feb 3 for Question Mark, post his house burning down last week. The whole door and raffle tix kitty goes to him, apparently, so it's prob worth it even if the show isn't stellar.
