listen, i know. but i have the ability to talk myself into anything and i've decided that if tht pats can keep LDT from getting to the edge, if they can hem him in between the tackles they can win the game. i predict the pats going 5 wide most of the game, using the "long handoff" passing game, and employing some sort of flexible 2-5 defensive scheme. i think tomlinson will gain a lot of yards but the pats will totally commit to their 'bend don't break' philosophy. turnovers and special teams will decide this game.

don't ruin this for me on my birthday by countering me with common sense or basic logic, plz.

i'm torn between watching the game from the relative comfort of my own couch or going to my local. home would be cheaper but i can smoke at the bar and someone else has to get up and get me a beer when i want one. then again i'll get tossed out if i throw things at the bar due to an interception or what have you. plus, at home i don't run the risk of getting punched out when i tell off a beligerant drunk who doesn't know shit about football as i will be the only beligerant drunk who doesn't know shit.

but i think the smoking thing wins out. pats are gonna win!
