the kwisatz bacharach (sanskrit), Wednesday, 7 February 2007 18:37 (eighteen years ago)

well...boredoms was going to play deitch last year july 7th, but that didn't happen and they had a show at webster hall instead. i don't think they're going to play deitch this year, the space is too small anyway. possibly 77th and...7th (columbus)..but wait, maybe i heard that one from jon.

catwon (catwon), Wednesday, 7 February 2007 18:49 (eighteen years ago)

LOL @ 7707 @ deitch

COULD DEITCH'S SPACE EVEN FIT 77 AUDIENCE MEMBERS WITH 77 DRUMMERS???

Charmmy Kitty's Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn (ex machina), Wednesday, 7 February 2007 19:28 (eighteen years ago)

who will these 77 be?

sexyDancer (sexyDancer), Wednesday, 7 February 2007 19:43 (eighteen years ago)

some coworkers wanted to go to Chicks on Speed a few years ago and i went. there's a second warehouse space around the corner that fits 700-800.

the kwisatz bacharach (sanskrit), Wednesday, 7 February 2007 19:45 (eighteen years ago)

i don't think they're going to play deitch this year

but yeah, i was assuming and now remember now some ilm chatter about central park or 77th street or something. outdoors would be much better.

the kwisatz bacharach (sanskrit), Wednesday, 7 February 2007 19:46 (eighteen years ago)

It's entirely up in the air really, but i think the idea was that they're going for a community/outdoor thang; I also am not sure where you could put 77 drum sets and still have room for an audience... Webster? Should be spectacular in any case.

uh huh. imagine 77 drummers or whatever crazy shit in some warehouse space, goddamn the acoustics would bounce like mad.

webster i don't think would be able to fit 77 on stage..maybe ground flooor? curious to what the set-up will be like
