me and the ex used to read the "i saw you"s in the chicago reader when we'd go out for breakfast on saturdays. before i moved in with her and i wasn't going to see her that weekend i sent one in but she never saw it.

they're usually pretty good for a larf or a "oooooooh, that's creeeeepy" type of thing.

Sadly none appear to have anything to do with me! Lots are v race-specific, though -- how can you be sure someone is Persian, for instance? I guess if you overhear them speaking other languages it's a good bet.

there was this one guy on the arlington message board who kept posting missed connections about various women at the safeway around the corner from my house (which culminated in "ME: DUDE YOU: ALL OF THE WOMEN AT THE SAFEWAY" msg). there was one posted that could've been about me but also could've described about 800 other people too, i mean "blonde bogarting the entire wine aisle" isn't exactly a me-only type of thing in virginia. i kind of started going there all the time just to see if i could ever figure out who this dude was. he loved ALL of the ladies at the safeway, indiscriminantly.
