winnepeg is cool. wtf. all those big canadian cities are pretty cosmopolitan. when i went there there was this hash shop and i ate a hemp bagel with hemp humus. i assumed you could smoke weed there, but no one offered to sell me any.

Canadians, especially Winnipeggers, are lousy self-mythologizers — pathologically so.

haha weird, i was totally talking abt mythologizing and national identities this wkend in nyc. and in a well-adjusted way. ha.
