sleep, Wednesday, 7 March 2007 22:45 (nineteen years ago)

Will we see Dan there?

JW, Wednesday, 7 March 2007 22:48 (nineteen years ago)

No. I'll be in NJ for a girlfriend's family thing. Then if I get back in time will probably stop by Union Hall to catch the Nightingales again, who were TOTALLY AMAZING last night. For the record, Aaron from Amolvacy and VtB was the Nightingales drummer when they first came here last year, when the Tall Boys opened up. That show was a ToddP/DanS event.

dan selzer, Thursday, 8 March 2007 02:57 (nineteen years ago)

Sorry I didn't stay at UP last time you were there -- your set was awesome but I wasn't feeling hot

JW, Thursday, 8 March 2007 03:13 (nineteen years ago)

japanther played a converted S+M club in melbourne last week.

i always get union pool and union hall mixed up

sanskrit, Thursday, 8 March 2007 03:31 (nineteen years ago)

union hall is where my friend goes to see science lectures.
union pool is where annoying people go to get drunk.

ian, Thursday, 8 March 2007 04:37 (nineteen years ago)

union hall is where I go to say "who the fuck are these people and what the hell is bocce ball and damn, I didn't know they had a menu, that looks good"

union pool is where I go to say "wow, I haven't been here since it was a revolutionary idea to open a bar at the second L stop in brooklyn and who the fuck are these people and cool, they're dancing"

dan selzer, Thursday, 8 March 2007 04:43 (nineteen years ago)

bocce bots wants to be your friend!

union pool is where i go and say '$3 for a pbr? Really? are you kidding me? Oh, $4 for red stripe? cool.'

tehresa, Thursday, 8 March 2007 13:52 (nineteen years ago)

bb, Thursday, 8 March 2007 14:44 (nineteen years ago)

Every bar in Williamsburg is where people go and think "who the fuck are all these people?" about each other.

Hurting 2, Thursday, 8 March 2007 15:20 (nineteen years ago)

Every bar in Williamsburg is where people from Jersey go and think "who the fuck are all these people?" about each other.

JW on Thursday, March 8, 2007 2:46 PM (3 hours ago)

tehresa, Thursday, 8 March 2007 23:22 (nineteen years ago)

I've lived in new york longer than you so there's no way you bought red stripe before me.

Yerac, Thursday, 8 March 2007 23:37 (nineteen years ago)

YOU HAVE NOT REPLIED TO MY EMAIL; THEREFORE I REMIND YOU OF IT.

JW, Thursday, 8 March 2007 23:43 (nineteen years ago)

I DON'T KNOW WHO YOU E-MAILED BUT IT WAS NOT ME.

I don't think a single person I work with would be able to identify a blogger who writes about music. People usually try to tell us that they are someone special on the internet.

Yerac, Thursday, 8 March 2007 23:56 (nineteen years ago)

that was an expost upthread

jon i htink mullet girl added me on last.fm!

tehresa, Friday, 9 March 2007 03:49 (nineteen years ago)

show tonight:

i liked ponytail!
boggs were alright but nothing original or immediately 'woah' impressive.
the death - i don't know what to say. they had a banjo! but left midset because i suddenly felt like i was in high school and there is something fundamentally wrong about $3 pbrs at a fucking toddp show in bushwick.

tehresa, Saturday, 10 March 2007 05:45 (nineteen years ago)

also: the 'over 21' stamp on my hand - i couldn't figure out what it said and there was an image that looks sort of like a banana but also like a penis. i just deciphered the words - "keep it up" - so penis makes more sense. but really, would anyone actually make that stamp? and if it is a banana, what does that have to do with keeping it up? oh dear.

tehresa, Saturday, 10 March 2007 06:15 (nineteen years ago)

ponytail should have headlined
o'death were good but weird crowd

sleep, Saturday, 10 March 2007 15:17 (nineteen years ago)

hah it was o'death and not 'the death' i r smart/pay lots of attention.
yeah that was a rly bizarre crowd.

tehresa, Saturday, 10 March 2007 18:43 (nineteen years ago)

very happy that ponytail is getting out of town love now

strongohulkington, Saturday, 10 March 2007 20:10 (nineteen years ago)
