ok..totally new topic..of sorts..

a freind of mine has been living in this apt in soho for over 10 yrs. this weekend the bldg was evacated twice because its fallen away from the one adjacent to it due to construction following the raizing of the building formerly on the other side. the city hasnt condemned it, but they have installed motion detectors in all the apts to monitor cracks, etc. the city and the landlord say they have no obligation to the tennents (either to buy them out or help, or anything).

understandably shes freaked the hell out. shes moved her dog in with a freind and is now trying to move herself.

if anybody knows about a 1 bedroom anywhere in the city (preferably not in the bronx/staten island, though) or has a good relationship with a broker or any sort of ideas/leads, can you please let me know and/or pass along this request to friends, etc? trouble is she's a bartender so she looks terrible on paper. this can make getting a new place real fast a lot harder. i really appreciate anything anybody can offer up, so thanks, in advance.

you know jon, fuck off. she got the place in soho ages ago from a freind. before that she lived on avenue D for three years. in 1991. just because she managed to find a good deal when you wre still in shortpants bears no regard on the fact that right now her place is unsafe and could use any leads or info you might have.

shes a freelance writer and a bartender. on paper she has and makes no money, which makes it hard to get a lease.

way to prove yr cunting self-obsession knows no rock bottom.


shes fine with brooklyn or anyplace. she works 5-6 days a week in the east village, but probably can't afford to stay there.
