sebadoh?

admrl, Friday, 30 March 2007 21:58 (eighteen years ago)

it's Navajo for "Catholic Bong Hits"

sexyDancer, Friday, 30 March 2007 22:01 (eighteen years ago)

no "sebadoh?" as in "sebadoh? I haven't thought about them in ages".

admrl, Friday, 30 March 2007 22:03 (eighteen years ago)

morbs, will let know if i decide to go!

tehresa, Friday, 30 March 2007 22:54 (eighteen years ago)

how was bent moustache

Edward III, Sunday, 1 April 2007 19:20 (eighteen years ago)

okay but played too long (and i NEVER say that, but they did) and were too into the fall. wilf is one hell of an amazing drummer, tho.

I was in my car, listening to Lou Barlow play an acoustic/live song on a local radio station here in western mass. - got to the intersection in the middle of Northampton, and saw Lou Barlow and Eric Gaffney walk out of the small storefront ticket place where they had been playing!
But i didn't go to the show.
But it was weird.

bent moustache had a much better time than the audience.

Eric Gaffney needs to shut the hell up. Forever. Also, the Ramones had the right idea: if you have a bunch of 90-second songs, play 12 of them without stopping.

I need to learn that if I have to THINK about going to a show, I shouldn't.

Dr Morbius, Monday, 2 April 2007 13:20 (eighteen years ago)

So, Eric talked too much at the show you went to too? I thought maybe he only did so here because it was a Boston show and he was excited to be back in town. There were moments during his rambling where I cringed.

Some fucking stoners can't shut up.

A friend was telling me about some 'nonreligious' seder he attended Saturday, and I said "Well, it sounds like Lou Barlow wasn't the only Jew going through the motions last night."

Dr Morbius, Monday, 2 April 2007 15:15 (eighteen years ago)

Barlow's Jewish?

sexyDancer, Monday, 2 April 2007 15:19 (eighteen years ago)

pretty sure he's Catholic

sexyDancer, Monday, 2 April 2007 15:59 (eighteen years ago)

that is SUCH a dr. morbius joke it's ridiculous.
also, i wouldn't have minded seeing sebadoh but, you know.. not now.

ian, Monday, 2 April 2007 16:06 (eighteen years ago)

Perhaps I have bad info.

Dr Morbius, Monday, 2 April 2007 16:10 (eighteen years ago)

I didn't go because it was advertised in the Truly Awful "Valley Advocate" as " ..a semi-annual return to their hometown where NoHo rock and roll royalty will see and be seen." Or something like that.
Plus...I dunno, it seemed pointless. (But i liked the sad acoustic song Lou Barlow played on the radio)

aimurchie, Monday, 2 April 2007 17:15 (eighteen years ago)

i didn't go because i was hungover and didn't feel like spending $20.
