Ottis Toole is one of the most notorious serial killers in American history. He and Henry Lee Lucas were responsible for up to hundreds of deaths. I started reading true crime books in the late 1980's and bought a drawing by Ottis Toole at the Rita Dean Gallery's Serial Killer Art Show. With this, I got Toole's address in Florida prison.
I'm not a strange killer groupy, I found the story behind his psychology interesting. We traded letters over the next few years and I amassed this collection of his art.
This auction is for 28 original pen and ink drawings, 6 letters written by Ottis, and 4 letters written for Ottis by another prisoner. I also have photocopies of some letters that I sent him. Everything is signed by Ottis. Not everything is dated.
I asked Ottis about the Hand of Death (the satanic death cult that he claims his grandmother introduced him to) and Henry Lee Lucas. These drawings and letters include many references to these. The initial letter also includes a discussion of Adam Walsh, canabalism, and feeling like an angel of mercy.
All of the drawings are pen and ink on 81/2 X 11 except for one piece on posterboard. Some have been folded for an envelope.
You can see all of the drawings in this flickr set: Drawings by Ottis Toole
Wikipedia on Ottis Toole:
Ottis Elwood Toole (March 5, 1947 September 15, 1996) (sometimes spelled Otis) was an American criminal. Though he claimed to be a serial killer and cannibal, and was the suspect in several unsolved murders, he recanted and restated a number of confessions.
Toole was twice convicted of murder, and confessed to four more murder charges before dying in prison.
He was perhaps best-known as a suspect in the murder of Adam Walsh, son of John Walsh, host of the television program America's Most Wanted, and as the reputed partner of Henry Lee Lucas.

Due to the unusual subject matter, I will only take paypal on this auction and will not hand deliver the drawings. I've seen these drawings and similar letters sell for at least $30 each. I'm not trying to make a bundle, just clearing out some old things and want to find someone that actually has an interest in them.
