The last time I saw FITA was in a hotel room. Later that day I nearly had sex.

Artist: HALLELUJAHSTitle: Niko Wo Kuraite Chikai Wo TateyoFormat: LPLabel: RoverCountry: JapanPrice: $28.00"Hallelujahs were a band led by Shinji Shibayama, during the mid-eighties. This was their sole album, released in 1986 in an edition of 300 on Shibayamas fledgling ORG Records label. ORG went on to release some great records by Maher Shalal Hash Baz, Reiko Kudo and Love Beach (Shibayamas current dream-pop psych band). Musically, pop psych is about as close as Im going to want to get to a description of what they do. Theres something about this record thats hard to get a grip on. It seems to float on layers of melody rather than rhythm, and in places it has an incomparable start of autumn melancholic atmosphere. Subtle, but a grower if you give it enough time. Part of yet another invisible Japanese scene." - Alan Cummings. Highly recommended! This is the remastered, 180 gram vinyl reissue which came out in 1997 in an edition of 500 a few years prior to the PSF CD. Includes obi strip and an insert (with lyrics and newly found photos).

why did you stop drawing plastic man? you were really good.

― J.D. (Justyn Dillingham), Sunday, 16 October 2005 12:33 (nineteen years ago)
Caitlin, I live in Portland, which I much prefer to Seattle. I was just there for work in September.
J.D., the orginal Jack Cole quit drawing Plastic Man because he wanted to do a comic strip (which was unsuccessful) but wound up doing one panel cartoons for Playboy in the fifties before killing himself in his car.

Tim, what should I do when the punk rockers beat me up at my next show? Should I bring extra syringes and put them into insulin shock when they attack me?

Someday I have to cajole Stormy into making a Diamondesque tour of his RAWK garden.

Emu
Essense of Topiary, splash in the air.Go down to silken water, cool springs, oh yea. We're noticing the cloud come, the drizzle here..Into the blood arising, out of the fear...And there's nothing in the world to do.You can understand, it is us falling..
Chorus
He wants to find you, he finds it good,he'll wrap around you and wish he could. He'll get to know you, he likes it good. He'll wrap around you and wish he could.Don't know how to fail you.
Out of the olive garden, onto the wheels, you knew the English language-I drive to yield. You knew less of the language then how to feel...searching beneath the surface, into the real..and there's nothing in the world to do. You can understand, it is love calling.
Emu, AmourIt's love...Chorus
