We will be debuting tracks from a NEW lp comp series called TWISTIN' RUMBLE! Imagine even DEEPER Las Vegas Grind style cuts, crazy as fuck r&b, frat go-go mayhem, and all that kinda silly party shit. This series will be in stores soon but we'll have the TEST PRESSINGS for spinning on Friday night. ALRIGHT!!!

NB: If no one applies or I get bored with the idea I'll prob go up to Sockstar instead.

zombie update: registration was good, we made it into the league -- though all the returning teams were accepted. the fake blood turned out amazing, really dark & thick & lifelike. i did some very basic gore f/x with torn & peeled latex on my arm & face, which when covered in the fake blood, was really gruesome -- one of my teammates, a huge horror movie fan herself, was actually queasy looking at it. i count that as success.

Laurel, I bet my roomie will be going to that Ox Collapse show; she and her friends are "into" them.

also, karo syrup & molasses blood, thickened with baking cocoa, is delicious, we will be the only zombies ever to smell like cookies

deathroes set last night was INSANE. total darkness + fog machine in overdrive + 3000 watt strobes + crowd that dances/slams/throbs to screeching noise as if it were the second coming of the butthole surfers. it felt like being in a scene from altered states, I was waiting for a vortex drain to open up in the floor and suck us all into some primordial plane of existence.

was talking to one of the deathroes guys later and he said they usually don't get that kind of audience reaction. providence=love.
