Personal Best in DVD q
A Certain Kind of Death in instant ––– I am not sure I'll ever end up watching this one.

17th Century Catholic Spain (Abbbottt), Friday, 29 October 2010 04:47 (fifteen years ago)

abbott, certain kind of death is a great movie but it is a DOWNER
watch it with someone you can look at afterwards and say "my life matters right?" with the knowledge that they will nod sagely and make you nachos

a pun based on a popular ilx meme (forksclovetofu), Friday, 29 October 2010 04:49 (fifteen years ago)

Oh man I feel a lot better about this movie knowing it ends with my husband making me nachos.

17th Century Catholic Spain (Abbbottt), Friday, 29 October 2010 04:52 (fifteen years ago)

well it actually ends with thousands of anonymous powdered corpses being dumped into an unmarked grave
but there's likely nachos afterwards if you play your cards right
seriously, if you can't handle real dead bodies (and not on the FACES OF DEATH exploitation tip, just like the reality that we die and we leave really ugly dead bodies lying on the ground), it's maybe not for you. if you can deal with that it's highly recommended.

a pun based on a popular ilx meme (forksclovetofu), Friday, 29 October 2010 04:58 (fifteen years ago)
