fuck = been slaving for weeks at the end of a project and our code is on the LAST round of defects and it's finally done despite being a peice of shit because QA barely tested it and and and longwinded bullshit not worth recanting. anyway, we're about to go in. some random person was just tooling around on the deployed software right before a DNS would push it into prod for realz and suddenly they find a show stopper bug. in the middle of the night. we've got to roll back. hours later it's realized we CAN'T roll back, mothercrunker deleted some non-restoreable shit!!! we duct taped the bug but it kept breaking for days on end. it was hellacious management killing us, customer service voodoo dolling us for the fuck up... no post-prod party. no raise. no ha. thousands lost an hour. and our manager could do nothing but righteously trumpet that, "AT LEAST WE MADE OUR DEADLINE!" fuck!

God, why do i still work there?
