nyc: i has a tennis permit

oh i so want in! ...but i could probably only play for a halfhour before my chest xploded...and i still have 0 idea where raquette went.

great! the only courts i've actually played in ny are mccarren - those seemed fine, but i'm open for other recommendations if you have'em. here's the list of outdoor courts for reference.

i really want to get back into playing, but i'm afraid that i've sunk to advanced beginner level or something like that.

I will play. I would say earliesh saturday or sunday before it gets too hot and so if the courts aren't crowded we can stay longer than an hour.

i haven't played in a couple of years but as long as I am not hungover and dizzy I should be fine. I will actually get up early to play, and can pick people up.

does wii tennis skill translate to real tennis skill?

I haven't played in 10 years but I used to be pretty good. NY sucks to play in, but there's these clay courts in sunnyside that are private but way cheap. I think I'm gonna get a lesson with a pro soon.

dave and i tried to play at mccarr3n after work last week but it seems impossible. i can't get there until 6:30ish, and at that point nothing is open until the 8pm slot.
