Have you been to the doctor? My wife had this so severely in college that, had she waited a week to check herself into the infirmary, she would have died of liver failure. (It probably didn't help that we were all binge-drinking every night at the time.)

i had a mono false alarm about a year and a half ago. i had a nasty lymph node infection which made me feel awful, but it went away fairly quickly. a few weeks later i was feeling sore all over and sick again, and thought maybe it was mono, but the second time turned out just to be a mild cold + sore muscles (i had just started attempting to do some regular exercise).

I had it right after moving here 4 years ago. For me it was just 2 weeks of high fever every day starting around 5pm and super tired. I guess I got off pretty easy.

they thought i had mono once when i was 18 but it turned out to be extremely infected tonsils due to infected socket from wisdom teeth removal! i had to go back three times over 2 weeks until they realized what it was and immediately put me in the hospital! i almost died! fuck you university health services for instantly thinking everyone has mono! (tho they prob do)

oh also the heat and humidity make lymph nodes swell up and also can make you feel like you are dying if you are sensitive to heat (this is how i have felt this week and i do not have mono or anything else)

Friend of mine thought he was depressed last fall, then he thought it was mono, then he was in a coma, then he was dead of Hep C before January was over. Blood transfusion in 1990, apparently.
