it was supposedly at one point inhabited by wild dogs. i like to picture them all in there, running around in a circle, sliding down the sugar sluices, tongues hangin out.

it is empty now.
i went to the scoping meeting at city planning for this and all of the longer-term residents (who were mostly latino and, presumably, lower-income) were completely in favor of this project because of the affordable housing elements.

i sawr a bunch of rock-shapped holes in the plate glass ground floors of some of the big blgs off manhattan ave this am. and cheaply thought, "right on!".

too bad the utter chaos that was greenpoint this am will not teach anyone that some fucking transportation infrastructure best be sonsidered REAL FUCKING FAST!!!
