such a pretty day. i went to the park and took a nap on dead dry leaves and went to the farmer's market and then watched more marching bands and ate chicken and had a cherry ice.

I told you, I told you you would like that parade!@!!!! Aren't the bugle corps great?? I missed it, I went out to do Open House NY things which were sort of duds, unfortunately, and I'm missed the parade.

yeah! you mentioned it awhile ago and i forgot/didn't know when it was so it was a nice surprise. i've become so gay for parades in my old age :/

i think it's mostly because of the food. percussion and streetfood, mmm

next spring: road trip to the st patrick's day parade in montauk, who's in? i went this year and it was just incredibly odd and fun and creepy.

guys how do you even do laundry when full-time employed and with all the other stuff of life?? i feel like i'm never going to have clean clothes again. laundromats, ugh. waiting for building's one washing machine in evening, ugh. nah, it'll happen, faith.

Laundry, groceries, fixing bikes, making music, sewing, baking cookies -- it all gets snuck in the cracks, Rrob. It is a problem, yes.

i am going to bake a pie in the next hour and fix bike and make music this afternoon! plus thanksgiving dinner and eric's trip show. also finish an article right now o_O

but there was pie at thanksgiving dinner party anyway, which was a lovely awesome time

That parade makes me cry, I get choked up w/ pride a little bit with every bugle corps. The pretty skirts and bright bright colors are just the icing for me, I really brake for marching bands.
