I was at a CD stoop sale in yuppie Brooklyn the other day, and this guy came by with his baby and was talking to the kid about records in that way that people talk to their dogs.

Dad: "Oh we don't want that. This came from a record club, so the sound quality isn't as good. We'll just put that back"

you can drill a whole box of cds on the spine easier than through the barcode, some stores refuse rec club cds, just like some refuse promos, and amazon has the same barcode as buying new in a store
