i had a huge nat'l geographic world article about that "unuseless" invention guy running a contest at toyota as a bonding thing for their engineers, it was one of my favorite articles ever
the best design was an alarm-clock bed that would tip over at a 45 degree angle if you hit snooze 3 times, dumping you on the floor
