store brand cereals

rule of thumb: don't burn your mouth.

even regular apple jacks are pretty jaggedy. or am i thinking of capn crunch?

anyways, i only eat bible cereal.

captain crunch is hell on the mouf.

but heaven on the taste buds

marshmallow mateys— knock off lucky charms— are at times serviceable, but usually too sugary. they, like most off-bran cereals, try to hard.

OMH those Malt-O-Meal 10 lb. knockoff bags were all my family ate forever (for cereal - many a meal and snack). My mom would find them for $1/each on sale sometimes and buy like 60 total bags, which were always in the pantry, tons of bags of cereal. When I first moved out on my own I found the same sale and bought 3 different bags, but soon realized while seven people may cycle through 30 lbs. of cereal quickly enough, I realized I could not do it alone.

I am allergic to Rice Krispies for some reason and even though I like them have not eaten them since middle school.

Yesterday I went all the way out to Dollar Tree expressly to buy Mini Spooners! $1 per each. It's a tight week til Friday.

Blaming my cereal for tasting bad on store-brand Apple Jacks for 2 days; pouring milk into espresso reveals that my milk is bad. UGH

Quaker must have stopped making my favorite cereal. ;__; A couple of years ago it was still on their website but not anymore...it was the oat squares. Box was yellow-and-white check gingham.

publix has (or used to have, not sure) a cereal called "crispy hexagons" which were generic crispix or whatever. pretty good. more notable for the name.

This was the best cereal ever. And packaging. Thankfully, I think, PepsiCo just changed the packaging to the phenomenally ugly

I can still buy Oatmeal Squares all the time, and they are extra tasty and filling. Cereals here sell BooBerry & c. all year too.
