Zubaz, whose slogan in the early 1990s was "Dare to be Different,” manufactures pants of a rather unique distinction.
Nearly 20 years ago, Zubaz were the creation of two body building buddies, Dan Stock, and Bob Truax. The brand name is pronounced “zoo-baz” and suggests an “in your face” attitude by the weightlifters, athletes, sports fans and other casual connoisseurs of high fashion who don our pants. Mass consumer demand for their invention was undeniable.
A generation ago, the clothing line was just as much an expression of attitude as it is today. With bold patterns and creative designs in every color imaginable, fans of every sport and activity could find a color to satisfy even the most outrageous fanatic appetite.
Due to an overwhelming popular demand to bring back Zubaz, the company has ramped up production once again. 2007 brings us a limited production line of classic zebra print pattern in a handful of bold colors.
