bathroom smells do not escape through fan, only through windows

elmo argonaut, Thursday, 27 December 2007 16:45 (seventeen years ago)

dudes the fan in my parents' guest room bathroom is crazy powerful, i just realized this yesterday when i turned it on and felt air being sucked up from under the door which in turned chilled my bare feet.

the ones in the J Flight barracks up the hill on the Presidio in Monterey are for smoking in your bathroom so you don't have to get dressed and walk outside fifty feet to the reg-compliant ashtray zone

this is just rong and wld be a dealbreaker for me re: apartment hunting

almost all montreal bathrooms are off the kitchen
for some reason

fans are also good for keeping bathroom dry(ish) and preventing mold etc
i mean, i cannot choose an answer here

one of my best friends has a fanless bathroom with sealed window and door that does not fit fully into frame on one edge and therefore though 'closed' is actually open a v small amount
