12 5+1/4 disks bitch! man, i played most of the sierra games and many of the early lucasfilm games. lot's of bbs freeware action too. lot's of arcade stylez on apple iic too. 2nd or 3rd grade + zork = crzy. radioshack/tandy cassette tape computer action on the television. amiga nonsense. woot! i think the raddest was downloading some game from a bbs and having no clue how to play and never really figuring out all the nuiances. "holy shit! the ~ key jumps! you can jump! fucker! i've been playing this shit with no jump key! jump keys are for toads! this game's too easy now. screw this. i'm going back to midnight madness."

that was in the late 80s or whenever.
the summer after college (97?) I came home and spent most of the summer playing the Legend of Zelda, but could never finish it. Then I got a playstation and could never finish Tomb Raider.

or more importantly, i suppose i'd need some sort of emulator and/or way to slow my computer down. i can only imagine how fast some of those games would run now.
10 year old boys ARE geniuses. what's the downfall of that 10 year old? girls? sniffing/tasting garage chemicals out of boredom/on a dare? toilet swirl repression? a lack of jetpacks + an abundance of cynicism?m.

lots of sequels:Ducktales 2Chip N' Dale 2R.C. Pro-AM 2Startropics 2 (it was mentioned in the Startropics 1 review though)Bubble Bobble 2TMNT 3Adventure Island games...
alsoSUPER VOLLEY BALL !!!MARBLE MADNESS !!!Paperboy 1 & 2 !!!Flintstones 1 & 2 (haven't played #2 but I assume it's good)Darkwing Duck (havent played but I'll assume its good because all those disney games were good)Bucky O'Hare (haven't played but dude mentioned it and it looks good)Tiny Toon Adventures 1 & 2 (played some of it)3-D World Runner (haven't played all the way through)Krusty's Funhouse (played most of it)Adventures in the Magic KingdomThe Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle (haven't played all the way through)North and SouthIvan "Ironman" Stewart's Super Off Road (maybe the NES version sucked? I only played the arcade version)Gun Smoke (haven't played all the way through)
also these were fun (but I wouldn't expect them on the list):Guerrilla War (too easy)Captain Skyhawk (too easy)Rampage (well I had fun even if I never got anywhere)

I've been working on my awesome ILG IGN Top 50-100 NES games poll for the past 20 minutes, while you posted that
Out of all of those, where the fuck was marble madness??? Should have been top 10

North and South is one of those games that you can pick up and play with a friend like marble madness and super dodge ball. It's a quick civil war game. The wiki says that it's an offshoot of the Belgian cartoon Les Tuniques Bleues.
BTW I did play through Duck Tales 2 at some point when I had Nesticle emulator. It was almost or just as fun as the first one.Games like 3-D world runner I only played on the emulator but I imagine that would have been a real fun game to have back in the old days. Krusty's funhouse was a pretty rad puzzle platformer game. That's all I have to say about NES games for now.

Get a Powerpak, motherfuckers
― Mr. Snrub, Saturday, 17 October 2009 23:42 (fifteen years ago)
With a flash multicart like the PowerPak, NES users no longer need to switch cartridges between games. As an owner of over 250 NES games, I personally have been looking for a product like this for a long time.
lol lazy
