i know i have a favorite but how to tell what section it is (since it's one track and all)?

Jordan, Tuesday, 22 January 2008 18:16 (seventeen years ago)

(i'm not going to sit through and count)

Jordan, Tuesday, 22 January 2008 18:17 (seventeen years ago)

the last part is certainly incred (and the newer nonesuch version (which is in the pulses box (but is also def worse than the ECM version)) has the parts indexed) so ill rep for that

69, Tuesday, 22 January 2008 18:22 (seventeen years ago)

yes, the answer is: you obviously have the Nonesuch version with indexed tracks so I can't vote for any of them

ECM version = metronome autobahn infinity
Nonesuch version = tries to jazz it up a little bit, swinging lush bad espresso midlife-crisis

I hear this version that came out last year is good, but haven't heard it yet

son of bazerk

Milton Parker, Tuesday, 22 January 2008 21:00 (seventeen years ago)

^^ the version you linked to there is great! my reaction is colored by the backstory somewhat but it is a good performance

gff, Tuesday, 22 January 2008 21:03 (seventeen years ago)

two months pass...

I have the version milton parker said he hasn't heard yet, is good. don't know any other versions though. nonesuch description does sound awful
