I can click around on the pitch mapping thingee all I want until I find a scale that is not listed. not by shostakovich, not by the east indies, not by bach, not by anybody. some random ass selection of notes that only I think sounds good. that's motherfucking right.

ok importing these into ableton directly and punching up sounds is the easy part, once you realize the only way to import midi into music apps in OS X is by CLICKING AND DRAGGING THE ICON OF THE .MID FILE INTO THE ARRANGEMENT WINDOW OF YOUR CHOSEN PROGRAM. most unintuitive intuitive gui ever, why couldn't there at least be a menu option? wugabuga bugabuga
