dont believe everything george lucas tells you.

* In the A New Hope novelization, Han says "standard time units" rather than "parsecs". Therefore, the reduced distance of Solo's Kessel Run is most likely a retcon to explain George Lucas's confusion of time and distance units.
* In the original draft of A New Hope in 1976, the description for "Kessel Run" is put as follows:

HAN: It's the ship that made the Kessel run in less than twelve parsecs!
Ben reacts to Solo's stupid attempt to impress them with obvious misinformation.

So it implies that the puzzling speech of Han Solo is a "misinformation" and not truth, and it has nothing to do with the nature of the Kessel Run in any respect. Han means nothing other than impressing Obi-Wan and Luke with a pure boasting. Indeed, even in the final version of the script, the parenthesis attached to Han's line states that he is "obviously lying."

* In the commentary for Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope DVD, George Lucas mentions that the parsecs are due to the Millennium Falcon's advanced navigational computer rather than its engines, so the navicomputer would calculate much faster routes than other ships could.

* After the two stormtroopers board the Millennium Falcon in response to Han's call, five blaster shots are heard. However, in the scenes following, the stolen suits of stormtrooper armor worn by Luke and Han bear no blast marks.

* The "Force kick" sequence: While Boba Fett's pack is out of control in the background, you can see Luke kick a guard in the foreground. Not only is it obvious his foot makes no contact with his head, his reaction to the "kick" is rather delayed.

Explanation: Luke used the Force combined with his kick, so that although his leg never touched the guard, the Force power hit the latter.

* In the shot of Leia's hip/hand next to Jabba's twitching tail, she shows no 'panty lines'. However, in the scene with her running to the gun on the Sail Barge—her skirt blows back, revealing a pair of dark panties underneath.

Explanation: Leia finds some panties somewhere in the intervening time and dons them to protect her modesty.

* When Yoda dies, his clothes disappear along with his body, unlike Obi-Wan's clothes, which remained after his death in A New Hope.

Explanation: Yoda was so enlightened and/or powerful that his outfit (which may have been the only clothes he had available to wear on Dagobah) became one with the Force along with his body. Closer inspection of Obi-Wan's clothing after his disappearance in Episode IV reveals it to be only his cloak that is left behind as opposed to his entire costume.

Perhaps the blasters were set to a "stun" setting, similar to the shot used by the stormtroopers on Leia after boarding the rebel ship at the beginning of ep. IV

What's the point of the stormtrooper armor if it doesn't stop stun shots, let alone a hand blaster?

haha I like the idea of slashfic between cutesy adventure sci-fi and menacing action sci-fi. Predators landing on Endor and just tearing Ewoks apart for the fuck of it.

predator vs boba fett! they vaguely resemble each other with masks on, it could work.

if you need to convert parsecs into another format, you can use this site:

or google -- http://www.google.com/search?q=12+inches+in+parsecs&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a
