there's an amazing section from the Let It Be - Outtakes DVD where Yoko steps up to the mic with John, Ringo & Paul and they do a preliminary version of "Why"
the sound is terrible, no bass, and so you start to wonder what Paul's doing and when it finally cuts to him he's crouched down waving his bass around an inch from the cabinet making feedback drones
