back to the future is a family action movie with wholesome laughs. it's not a comedy.

not saying there aren't COMEDIC elements in BTTF--it's great entertainment--but that a small piece of the whole

this is a genre that kinda got ruined by CGI - your 'family-friendly mid-80s-style sci-fi action comedy' = spy kids

ya but those are more kid-oriented. im thinking, family-FRIENDLY but still aimed a bit older.

At least four of those are movies I could watch over and over again.
