i think a zing is a zing no matter what the context. if you have succeeded in zinging the intended zingee, it's not really relevant what the past history is between the zinged and zinger.

however, i will allow this thread to stand and see if anyone makes use of it. it's a trial period.

ftr i was unaware of vendetta behind 'zing' which i quoted which i guess prompted this thread and brouhaha, and knew libcrypt only as a guy who laid a bummer upon a story about an epic bong, and matt p as a guy who zinged him accordingly.
