Today when ghost announced that they were playing their last song, i yelled "WHY YOU BREAK HEART ALL TIME?" and no one was there to "get" it.

During M83 I yelled out "So... Much... Rock!?!" towards the end of the show. I had no idea it would be 2 guitars, bass and drums with canned synth. Based on all the pix I had seen of them I expected a bank of Rolands.

"I want to have all your guys's babies" yelled out during an awkward equipment malfunction during Tiny Hairs Of Tiny Caterpillars' set.

I think the locust are just dandy. i don't get the backlash.

"moth eaten deerhead" is still the best song in their catalog. they closed their show in 2000 (i think... uh... msp? are you my surrogate memory?) with arab or radar and lightning bolt at the cocodrie with it and i was in NOIZY appreciation.

gygax! (gygax!), Wednesday, 22 September 2004 16:17 (twenty-one years ago)

that being said, they are probably the most heckled band i've ever seen (other than "the zip code rapists").

THE BACKLASH IS FROM INDY TWATS THAT "DISCOVERED" THEM LATE AND ARE UPSET THEY WERENT AROUND BEFORE THEY WERE SELLING LOCUST ENDORSED TUPPERWARE.

The only time I've actively heckled a band (I think) was the Kings Of Leon. Drunk and angry, I yelled "Southern Fried Strokes!" after one song, "Stare at your hands!" a couple times (they so were doing that, like a fuckin' E chord requires attention), and sang "Last Nite" over a guitar break. In key. It fit.

Someone finally asked me to give it a rest during the last bit. I belched and apologized for pointing out the obvious and ruining his notion that their presence in our town was some kind of hipster boon.
