yeah, i know a lot of the above are not either or... there's band A who is doing most everything on the left and band B that is doing most everything on the right and both might be considered noise.

person X might say band A is noise and band B is not noise while person Y might say the opposite...

it's gradiations probably... it just seems like some band will get on stage and play total formless white noise on their crazy synth beast and everybody LOVES it. (despite it's potential yawn factor.) meanwhile, something with guitars and form is okay maybe... (well, despite it's potential yawn factor.)

it still seems like certain behaviors are championed...
