scott seward, Tuesday, 2 February 2010 16:35 (fifteen years ago)

yes! but you have to replace these brooklyn signifiers with SF foodie-isms

sir ilx-a-lot (cutty), Tuesday, 2 February 2010 16:35 (fifteen years ago)

i wrote a crust-punk anthem about rebel foodies. wanna see the lyrics?

shasta in 2010:

i am not a collector
i am not a foodie
i do not ride a fixed gear bike
i do not like pavement

sir ilx-a-lot (cutty), Tuesday, 2 February 2010 23:21 (fifteen years ago)

i am a foodie! it's just i'm not very local food oriented, i have pretty global tastes.

also: fixed gear bike was sold last year and pavement records were sold this year to clear room for new developments!

jaxon, Tuesday, 2 February 2010 23:43 (fifteen years ago)

this thread wasn't only for SS

sir ilx-a-lot (cutty), Tuesday, 2 February 2010 23:57 (fifteen years ago)

yeah, i'm definitely not saying that stereotype does not exist in SF... it's a dime a dozen in the mission, it's hard ~not~ to find people like that tbh.

chicken of the woods/shelf mushrooms grow on a tree in front of my parents' house and one time these people came and asked if they could take some. i had no idea you could eat them.

DJ Cinema (latebloomer), Saturday, 6 February 2010 00:51 (fifteen years ago)

according to my sister, anything growing on a tree is edible, if not actually tasty
