i know right

it occurred to me this morning that with my workweek + commuting to school i spend more time w/friends (?) on ilx than i do irl, and that the number of people on ilx i consider bros is like double the size of my irl social circle

good lord HOOS thats depressing

altho you're much more popular than i on ilx

maybe it's a college thing but during the week i'm on my computer (ilx) more than i get to see more than like one or two of my irl friends

weekends are diff tho

like the amount of time i spent hanging out with ilx bros on chatz last night> the amount of i've time i've gotten to hang with irl bros this week

yeah i've been trying to figure out if it bothers me or not. i'm sure lots of people, maybe even ilxors, would o_O me, but i socialize and shoot the shit and think about issues in music and politics and culture more here than i do almost anywhere else, online or off.

college has been a weird experience for me. i've been to three different schools in three different cities over the course of four years, so i've never really had the chance to set down roots and get cemented with a single social group. for the moment anyway ilx is the closest thing i have to a consistent friend group. i'm ok with that.

again i agree with hoos here (except for the college experience part), i mean since i'm at the point where i know most of the ppl i'd consider my 'friends' on ilx beyond just poster name i'm cool with ilx being a 'consistent friend group'
