thread to bump when someone at your work freaks out and then they go into the conference room with their supervisors

twenty five minutes and counting so far

oooooooh. i was that person once. haha.

I have been that person and seen it happen to others. Sucks either way.

i should bump this thread on days when this doesn't happen here. fools are always freaking out .people don't even notice it anymore.

I'm not saying that work should be all happy-happy fun time, but if it makes you totally lose your shit it's time to change jobs.

every once in a while you can catch the muffled raising of voices. we've passed the 1/2 hour mark.

i cant get any work done while this is going on!!!!!

its a small office and this is only my 2nd week

then we can speculate even more wildly on whatever you do manage to hear!

The best is when you can hear every screamed word with the doors closed.

as far as i can tell--one of the supervisors is taking away some call lists from the girl behind me to give to the temp we have at the office... she feels insulted, tells him that she doesnt want to work anymore, this is clearly not the job for her, tells him that he treats her like a baby, the other supervisor steps in, they spend 40 minutes in the conference room and emerge red-eyed like nothing happened.

its weird cause no one in the office is THAT neurotic/high-strung and its not really THAT high-pressure a firm, i just think these two dont work very well together

so the temp is obviously sleeping with the supervisors.. and said supervisor just consoled the girl behind max in a variety of ways....ifyouknowwhatImean.

it was kind of awesome because this happened over the course of an hour or so, so the supervisor kept bugging the girl and you could just hear her getting more and more aggravated until she finally just snapped

is the temp cringing or snickering at this turn of events?

stony-faced silence as though it didnt happen, but shes actually worked here before so she knows everyone--thats why its not weird for her to get the call lists

My office has no designated freak-out conference room. People just yell at each other all over the office and so gossip runs rampant and a lot of us work with headphones on. I hate being forced to listen to confrontations. I am really not at all confrontational so it makes me feel embarrassed to see/hear arguments.

not really the same situation--this one girl told me that she was submitting her two weeks notice--but i just heard her crying and then she called this other guy who shes friends with into her office and shut the door
