I have really become a fan of this show in spite of myself.
At first, it was all "what are we gonna watch while we eat this pizza? Nothing's on. Whatever, let's just watch this."
Then, Phase II: "Carrie is totally hot. And Patton Oswalt is doing a really good job. It's kinda funny, I guess."
Phase III: OMG Cousin Danny, SO hilarious!
The final phase is DVRing it and getting bummed out when it's an episode you've seen already.
Good cast, decent enough writing, funny, funny, funny.
Only dud - Arthur. The Kramer of this show. Shows that center around Arthur's antics are the pits.
Anyway, if nothing else, it beats Everybody Loves Raymond and Still Standing when youre eating pizza and nothing's on.

okay throwing this one out there, not expecting any results.
does anyone know what the fuck is going on with Spence in the episode where it's Doug's 40th birthday (and they all go to the fair). At the very beginning of the episode they're all in Doug's house giving presents, but Spence is just stood in the background staring ahead and not moving whatsoever, even when we follow Carrie to the kitchen we can still see him static in the background. looks really creepy and odd.
