First I would like to say that I have been a lurker here for quite some time, but have recently decided to join after an incident at my school. It occured yesterday, in History class, as we were talking about whether or not the moon landing was faked. During the debate, I began to talk about how Nasa used the moon funds to develop the spherical photo of earth, something which I learned from this site. I got caught in the moment and then began ranting about how the earth is flat. As soon as I mentioned that I was the target of laughs, giggles, and ridicule. I began to explain why the earth is flat and about the ice wall, but I was cut short by the teacher, who I then got into an argument with. After he got tired of arguing, since I was easily refuting everything he was saying, he sent me to the office, to hide his shame.
At the office, they asked me to explain what had happen and why I was sent there. I told them what happened and they told me that I should see the school counselor. This truly pissed me off.
I can not believe how brainwashed the general public is. If the government were to tell them the earth was a pyrimid, the mindless pawns who roam this earth would eat it up as truth.

That your peers and teacher laughed at you demonstrates the subtle way the academic wing of the Conspiracy works. By ridiculing you, they contribute evidence on your side of the argument.
