weird candy

anyone tried skittles fuego gummies?

Sounds suitably weird.

I've been on the lookout for them, but haven't found them in any of the stores I've tried so far.

Didn't even know that Skittle had gummies. I don't usually peruse the hanger bag candies, since they tend to have multiple servings per container and my self-control would undoubtedly collapse.

I am, however, intrigued by Skittles POP'd, and will probably splurge on a bag if I'm not able to source these Fuegos. I guess there's been a trend in re-selling candies that had been freeze-dried (https://www.thefreezedriedcandystore.com/collections/shop-all), and Mr. Skittle decided to cut out the middle-man.

Purchased a bag of POP'd when I could not find Fuego on my most recent expedition. The Skittles' interior becomes dry and crunchy, like astronaut ice cream, but extremely tangy. Plus, there was a huge pile of popped Skittle dust at the bottom of the bag, a sampling of which has ensured that I will not try any bizarre fruit-flavored confections for a week or two at least.

Found the Fuego this weekend at Safeway. Flavors ranked:

3. Strawberry
4. Raspberry
5. Lemon
