had a dope take on the reuben in LA:

sauteed shiitake mushrooms
swiss
sauerkraut
toasted rye

oh prob. some 1000 island too obv

in LA i used to go to this cafe called auntie ems and have their BLAST sandwich whichc was Bacon Lettuce Avocado Sprouts and Tomato on a rosemary ciabatta, it was always really good and they put homemade mayo on it, but it was best when they had the B-BLASTO which was the same thing with bleu cheese and carmelized onions, it was really fucking good

ill be totally honest i went to cali thinking avocados were no big deal but after having them on basically every sandwich and/or burger that i ate in the last four years i really miss them over here

max you should have brought them with you like johnny avocadopit or something so that we all my relish the avocado regularly.

unfortunately tehresa the avocado tree is a delicate plant that would not survive the harsh winters of the east coast. treasure instead the jetplane, which ferries avocados in the direction of the rising sun, so that even those of us cursed by geographical circumstance might enjoy this mighty and succulent berry.

im eating chick-fil-a chicken biscuit right now. its kinda dry but i dont intend to stop.

top five sandwiches:

lettuce, cheese, tomato, beetroot on multigrain bread or, even better, a long white chrunchy roll.
avocado + tomato on white bread
tomato and roast beef on white bread.
avocado, alfalfa and cheese on wheat bread
australian prawns (peeled and devained by me because i dont trust anyone else to do the job right) on white bread spread with butter

ive also got to rep for the club and the BLT. classically classic.

heres an all-time classic with some fun variations:

- grilled cheese
- grilled cheese with tomato
- grilled cheese with ham
- grilled cheese with ham and tomato
- croque-monsieur

man, what sandwich will i celebrate with today????

it is:
white bread, chicken, asiago dressing, lettuce, bacon, "seasoning"

looks kinda bland

tastes so good

it's not actually my fav sandwich from there, just the one that i got today

then again i don't like avocados and shit on my sandwiches so who knows~~~

you should put those precariously leaning heavy books on the lower shelf imo

all that shit is one of my roommate's and he is like the least organized person i know

uh once i had an avocado and gruyere sandwich w/ some kind of raspberry mustard and it was the best sandwich i ever had and i still think about it 6 years later but i can't afford another so the memory is all i have

the bend in the middle of the tv stand is a little concerning too. also those floors could do with a refinishing.

i've had a hamburger in a grilled cheese but never between 2 grilled cheeses wow
