here's what always happens
* i'm walking home from a bar or party or whatever at like 4am* i pass by the bagel place* i buy a dozen, they're all super hot* i get home* i want to put the majority in the freezer but they're still hot* i end up staying up an extra hour just waiting for them to cool* and i'm doing that now.

when you buy bagels at mtl bagel places they're generally straight out the oven. and you want to eat some hot ones right away. but the rest have to cool.
