sassafras

no offense, but I can't say this in a rhyming way w/o sounding like a twit. I tried sass-a-frass, sauce-a-frauce, soz-a-froz, saz-a-fraz, and sahs-a-frahs -- but nope, none of 'em sound as natural as my usual sass-a-frahs. maybe it's a regional thing...?

harbl, sometimes you could stand to be less of a flibbertigibbet. i mean that as constructive criticism, not an insult fyi.

kingkongvsgodzilla, Thursday, 28 May 2009 20:32 (sixteen years ago)

Aerosmith certainly pronounced it sass-a-frass!

kingkongvsgodzilla, Thursday, 28 May 2009 20:33 (sixteen years ago)

guys, enough w/ your mumbojumbo, you're derailing the thread

man see 'roo (unregistered), Thursday, 28 May 2009 20:34 (sixteen years ago)

I'll start saying it the Aerosmith way for the next week just to see how it feels, but I'll make no guarantees.

man see 'roo (unregistered), Thursday, 28 May 2009 20:36 (sixteen years ago)

harbl, Thursday, 28 May 2009 20:40 (sixteen years ago)

um, every time I sing along that one song by Aerosmith

First 'word I think is sweet' to pop in my head was CATTYWOMPUS, but that's no good here. Does SALAMANDER work? I like the word salamander.
