1a. Should it be a local/domestic lager or am I allowed to bring along a posh European beer? Or should I invoke the local Adelaide twentysomething male law and just bring Coopers Pale from my stocks?
2. Should I get cigars even through I don't smoke?

As far as the shirt is concerned, I wouldn't suggest anything with flames, dice, or cards. Might be a little too strong for those queers you're playing with.

PP, the SA state-sponsored beer is Coopers Pale. Coopers Sparkling is more than allowed because it shows you have an "appreciation" for Coopers. Coopers Dark is great in winter, imho. Note that these are ALES because we're better than those tasteless Easterners. That said, someone brought around a 6-pack of that Coopers Lager to my Halloween party.
That said, if you're a dead-set bogan, West End is your SA state-sponsored beer. If you're weird, then it's Southawk (who make a dreadful Pale Ale but a nice wheat beer).
