The Hotel Carter

• filthy and surly unhelpful staff
• prostitutes
• dirt
• freezing
• dead rats
• bed bugs in every room
• creepy men in lobby

there is a whole section of photos of various rashes ppl have gotten from staying there

one review is entitled "body found, stoned doorman"

I like that one of their services is "Babysitting / child care"

this is the IRL version of one of those hotels in movies where some naive out-of-towner ends up on their trip to live in ny.
